What is the handle at right of the gearbox (with the red knob on top)?
Now its in lowgear, in what position shall the handles be in to get highgears?

The handle whit the red knob is for the the poulie , but its missing on your tractor.
Between the shifter and the red knob is the high and low gear selector.Face it to the engine , then its is in highgear.

So the gearhandle at right side is the standard low/high gear.
Is the similar handle at left side the optional schnellgear? Should it be in back position to be engaged?
I dont understand what poulie is, maybe you have a link to a picture?

i think patrick means the red knobed handle is for the beltdrive / mower.
google say´s poulie is a french word and means flaschenzug in german...?...

also der 314 hatte teiweise 15 vorwärts und 5 Rückwärtsgänge in 3 Gruppen, wie beim BG 2a Getriebe, diese wurden mit den beiden flachen Hebeln, jeweils rechts und links am Getriebe , geschaltet.
